Heather Benedictson, Occupational Therapist
Heather is a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist with a client-centered approach rooted in evidence-based practice. With certification in Sensory Integration and the SOS Approach to Feeding, along with advanced training in trauma-informed care, Heather supports children and families in navigating complex developmental and emotional challenges with empathy and expertise.
Her clinical focus includes executive function coaching, emotional regulation strategies, and the application of attachment theory to foster secure, trusting therapeutic relationships. Heather is passionate about helping children build independence and confidence through targeted support in fine motor development and essential daily living skills, including feeding, sleep routines, and toileting.
Heather’s practice is collaborative and strengths-based, empowering parents, caregivers and educators with practical tools and strategies that integrate seamlessly into everyday life. She is committed to creating safe, supportive environments where children can thrive and reach their full potential.

Shirley Lund, Occupational Therapist
Shirley has been an occupational therapist for over 20 years, supporting children and families in schools, homes, and community settings. She is passionate about helping children participate fully in their daily lives through playful, meaningful approaches that build skills and confidence.
She has specialized training in the SOS Approach to Feeding, equipping her to support children with feeding challenges in a fun and family-centered way. Shirley also practices through a trauma-informed lens, with a special interest in supporting children with selective mutism and other regulation-based challenges. She has completed additional professional learning in Indigenous perspectives and practices, which has shaped her collaborative and culturally responsive approach to care.
Families and colleagues value Shirley’s ability to connect with children and create safe, supportive environments where growth can happen. Her practice emphasizes self-regulation, sensory processing, and fine motor skill development, always with strategies that translate into everyday routines and experiences.
